Home - About Me
My name is Roisy Peña Cruz, and I am a member of the Class of 2026 in the Information Technology Services program at Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School. I plan to attend Northeastern University next fall, majoring in Business Finance.
During my time at Essex North Shore Agricultural & Technical School, I have developed my skills in networking while also enhancing my professional skills. I earned the IT Specialist - Networking certification, along with other micro-certifications, from Cisco Skills For All. I have also received certifications like the Massachusetts Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, CPR and AED certification, as well as SkillsUSA Leadership awards. I have been involved with SkillsUSA, participating as a Voting Delegate at the State Leadership Conference. In my junior year, I served as a SkillsUSA Chapter Officer and moved on to the State Leadership Conference to be our school's Head Delegate. Now, as a Senior, I serve as the SkillsUSA Chapter President, as well as the National Technical/National Honor Society Chapter President, and I am a class representative for the class of 2026. Apart from these roles, I am also a student mentor, and I have been able to mentor freshmen in their journey here at school. From configuring switches and routers, building small games in Python, and becoming a student leader, I have tirelessly worked to advance my technological proficiency while in the ITS program.
