We have included many primary sources related to our theme on this website and we will be looking at some of these more in-depth at the workshop. In addition to the typical ways we might interrogate a source with students (identifying author, purpose, time/context) you may want to start to think about how might we use these sources to help us become more inclusive, responsive and critical (as outlined in DESE’s guiding principle 2) as we approach our teaching of immigration.
