#GoOpenVA website: A platform that allows teachers to share openly licensed digital learning resources with other Virginia educators.

Virginia Learns Anywhere: VDOE created the Continuity for Learning (C4L) Task Force consisting of teachers, leaders, and collaborating educational partners across Virginia. The C4L Task Force has prepared Virginia Learns Anywhere, which reinforces much-needed structure while also empowering individual teachers to support students in learning remotely.

Bay Backpack: Activities from the Chesapeake Bay Program to engage students in outdoor learning.

Distance Learning Resources from the Smithsonian: The Smithsonian Learning Lab offers access to digital resources from across the Smithsonian's museums, research centers, libraries, archives, and more. Includes pre-packaged collections that contain lessons, activities, and recommended resources made by Smithsonian museum educators.

NASA STEM @ Home for Students Grades K-4: NASA provides free, at-home, hands-on Build It! Solve It! Launch It! Play It! Color It! Read It! projects.

National Inventors Hall of Fame: These STEM activities will provide children the opportunity to explore, experience and collaborate to continue building lifelong thinking and problem solving skills.

National Weather Service Education: This site features activities related to weather science, safety, and careers.

Project Learning Tree: Environmental education activities from the Virginia Department of Forestry.

Take a Hike, Part 2: The Encyclopedia of Life: Lesson plans using The Encyclopedia of Life, an online “open-science” database and website of over one million species, with aggregated text, descriptions, video clips, and sound files from over 180 scientific organizations and scientists around the world.

Virginia Soil and Water Conservation District: Resources to support outdoor learning.

Virtual Camp Discovery: The Museum of Discovery and Science (MODS) in Fort Lauderdale hosts virtual learning videos with accompanying activities weekdays, with playback on YouTube. Content includes school program lessons, outreach classes, Makerspace activities, Slime of the Day, storytelling, early childhood education, science shows, and animal meet and greets.
