#GoOpenVA website: A platform that allows teachers to share openly licensed digital learning resources with other Virginia educators.

Virginia Learns Anywhere: VDOE created the Continuity for Learning (C4L) Task Force consisting of teachers, leaders, and collaborating educational partners across Virginia. The C4L Task Force has prepared Virginia Learns Anywhere, which reinforces much-needed structure while also empowering individual teachers to support students in learning remotely.

Language Arts-Specific Resources

CommonLit: This is a digital tool that helps students in grades 5-12 make measurable gains in reading and writing. It includes a free collection of reading passages in all literary and nonfiction genres for grades 3-12.

Houghton Mifflin Harcourt At-Home Learning Support: This site includes multiple resources for English language arts instruction. It also includes support for the ELA series being used at TES and EHS.

Newsela: This is is an instructional content platform that brings together engaging, accessible content with integrated assessments to promote reading engagement and learning in every subject.

ReadWorks: This site includes free content, curriculum, and tools to power teaching and learning from kindergarten to twelfth grade.

Storyline Online: Actors and actresses read children's books online.
