Students wishing to apply to the LVMH Chair must:

• Be keen to develop a professional path through the luxury industry. Throughout the duration of the program, the Chair and LVMH are setting up numerous initiatives to open professional opportunities within LVMH group.

• Have a global mindset and proficiency in English.

• A working level of French is high value to build a career in this industry. Foreign students should commit to starting or continuing learning the French language during the duration of the Chair. 

• A first experience in luxury is a plus.

• They should also possess a strong analytical as well as a creative skill set, allowing them to understand the "big picture" of the luxury industry while maintaining a sharp focus on the details.

• Finally, students may have an interest in working in any position in the luxury industry, ranging from marketing, merchandising, business development, retail,  supply chain or sustainability.

LVMH Chair is only available to ESSEC students in MSc. in Management, MSc. in Sustainability Transformation (ST), Master in Strategy Management of International Business (SMIB), MSc in Hospitality Management (IMHI), Master in Digital Marketing (MMD), 2nd year of the Master in Luxury Management and Global BBA students Year 4 and 5. You first have to become an ESSEC STUDENT before applying to the Chair.
