Basic Agenda Information
Will I get penalties for being late/absent to certain activities during iMagination Week?
iMagination Week is a mandatory program that counts for your graduation (creativity is one of the top 10 skills listed by WTO for the future of work), thus it is a very important course for you.
For your information, there will be no tolerance for no-shows!
No absence allowed !
Every absence must be notified. Please send an email to: etudes@essec.edu and inform your tutor as well.
An absence from any courses/conference will give you a 0 (failure pass exam).

Project
How are we graded ?
Please check the section "Grading" here.
What does the project that we have to create consist on ?
Your deliverable is a stage performance of a responsible innovation project that you will imagine together with your team and will present on Friday morning.
You can check the winning projects of the MiM program back in January 2024 to help you imagine what it could look like, as well as our Instagram and Recap Youtube video of last edition.
What happens to the projects after they are done ?
They will be presented in front of your peers, recorded, and the winning teams' projects will be available on our official website. In the future, for those who are willing to do so, we can accompany you with ESSEC Ventures to make your project a reality.
Prototype
Where can I find materials for prototyping ?
Equipment is available directly in your rooms and to align with our commitment to environmental sustainability and recycling, no prototyping materials will be provided directly.
However, we will make an effort to place some cardboard and colored sheets in your rooms by Wednesday noon to assist with your projects.
We encourage you to get creative and make use of any reusable items you might already have on hand. Thank you for your understanding!
How do we reduce the consumption of paper ?
We have taken several avenues to reduce our overall paper consumption during iMagination Week, such as:
We collect with the students, at the end of each iMagination Week, all the material that is left and that can still be used for the following year (post-it blocks, paper real but also pens, etc.) We store it and reuse it the following year. We also monitor what is not used as much each year, so that we can replenish the material bow in a more efficient manner.
We create shared material boxes so that students capitalize on the paper resources.
We remind students about the individual responsibility in managing what we all know is important: our resources (and not just paper).
The recycling of prototyping materials attends an integral part of our workshop.
We are committed to designing your prototypes using recycled materials, therefore contributing to environmental preservation.
To facilitate this process, we provide designated waste bins where we responsibly dispose of all the waste generated during prototyping. These bins are then meticulously sorted to separate diverse types of materials for appropriate recycling.
We place particular emphasis on this eco-conscious approach and ensure nothing is discarded without first being sorted.
Additionally, students have the option to reclaim their prototypes at the end of the week if they wish, promoting material reuse and further minimizing our ecological footprint.
