BREAK
Every student can request a temporary interruption to their education. This temporary interruption could be the semester of study when the request is raised, up to a maximum duration of one academic year.
This request must be duly motivated and expressed in writing (mail or e-mail) to the Global BBA Team at gbba.apac@essec.edu which outlines the background. Requesting a temporary break for a severe medical illness who calls for long rest for the student may be an example of a request which enters the category.
A meeting may be arranged to meet with the Associate Academic Director, Global BBA and Director, Academic Affairs.
The request will therefore forwarded to Direction of Studies for review and consideration.
Direction of Studies keeps itself the right to deny the request for the temporary break after the study of the request, if the motivation does not enter the framework of accepted justifications or if the implementation of the temporary break is not possible.
If the request for the temporary break is accepted, the Direction of Studies will arrange the course path for the student, allowing it fulfil diplomation criteria to obtain the diploma.
It is the student responsibility to contact the Direction of Studies a little time before the end of the temporary break in order to review his/her academic situation.
The duration of the break is not counted in the maximum 5 years granted to students to complete the diploma (5.5 years for students in apprenticeship).
WITHDRAWAL
Every student can request a complete interruption of their education.
This request must be written (e-mail or mail) to the Global BBA Team at gbba.apac@essec.edu

The request will therefore forwarded to Direction of Studies for review and consideration
A certificate mentioning the number of ECTS credits will be provided upon request, under the condition of fulfilling all your contractual obligations with ESSEC (accounting, Alegessec and etc).
The Direction of Studies will acknowledge your withdrawal in writing.
