What is your background?

I have a background in pharmaceutical sciences.

Which ESSEC program are you part of?

I am part of the Master in Management (MiM).

Can you tell us more about your experience with the Chair?

Having a background in pharmaceutical sciences, I was exposed to the field of beauty during my undergraduate degree in India. My interest in this field led me to pursue my further studies at ESSEC. After getting a glimpse of the chair through 'Building a Beauty Brand' and 'Activating a Beauty Brand' courses in my first year, I finally got to experience the chair in its entirety in my 2nd year. For me, the chair was crucial in understanding the importance of cultural nuances in the marketing of beauty products, especially when it came to fragrances, a category often neglected in India. Moreover, I loved the fact the Chair partners are actively involved, often engaging us with small case studies. From beauty entrepreneurship to a career in the top beauty firms, the Chair truly lays down the seeds of success for your journey in this industry!

What will you do after the academic part of the Chair?

I will have a 6-month internship as a Consumer Marketing Assistant at The Estée Lauder Companies.
