Types of Exchanges

Double Degree program

The Double Degree program is only available to students nominated by one of our specified dual award partner universities. It is co-validated by the ESSEC Global BBA and the partner institution.

At the end of 4 years of study, successful graduates will obtain the ESSEC Global BBA Diploma and the degree from their home university.

Academic requirements

• the first 2 years of study at the partner home institution.

• one full year (2 semesters = 60 ECTS credits) of study at ESSEC Global BBA.

• a six month full-time internship

- French Track: internship in France or another French-speaking country preferred
- English Track: internship in any country

• The final semester of study at the home institution and final year dissertation.

During the year of study at ESSEC, Double Degree students will study with Global BBA 3rd and 4th year students.

Each semester of study is worth 30 ECTS credits and 60 ECTS must be validated over the two semesters.

Full Year Exchange

Exchange students have to be nominated by one of our partner universities.

Full-time ESSEC Global BBA students take a course of study which represents 30 ECTS credits per semester.

Full-year exchange students are required to take between 16 ECTS and 30 ECTS per semester.

Full year exchange students do not qualify for the Double Degree. Therefore they do not have to fulfill any academic obligations to ESSEC Global BBA and can choose from the classes available during their chosen study period in accordance with the academic requirements of their home university.

Students who stay at ESSEC Global BBA for the whole academic year will study with 3rd and 4th year students.
