About Me
Hello! My name is MacKenzie Schaeffer and this will be my tenth year of teaching. I live in Centennial with my husband Raymond, our son Clark, our dog Luna, and our cat Polly. I love my little family and enjoy reading, spending time with my family, watching TV, and listening to music. I also like scary movies, anything space themed, and snacking!
Teaching Experience
I started my teaching career after I graduated from Mercer University in 2015. I taught third grade at Tarver Elementary in Thornton, CO for one year. Then, I taught second grade at Collegiate Academy of Colorado in Littleton for the 2016-2017 year. During the 2017-2018 school year, due to enrollment issues, I made a move to teach third grade STEM at Roots Elementary in Denver. Then, from 2018-2024, I taught fifth grade at Bromley East Charter School in Brighton. I am also pleased to announce that I will be receiving my Masters Degree in Educational Leadership this year as well. I completed my program online through Western Governors University.
