Emulators for Code-A-Pillar (apps to play with when you don't have a Code-A-Pillar handy!)
The Code-a-pillar Twist is a preschool-level robot that will help your littlest learners explore sequencing and coding in an engaging way.
To get started with the Code-a-pillar, flip it over and turn it on with the switch on the bottom.
Then twist the dials along the Code-a-pillar’s back to choose actions. The Code-a-pillar can move straight ahead, left or right, and can make a variety of sound and light combinations.
The Code-a-pillar will execute your code in sequence when you press the play button. You can allow students to just play and experiment with the Code-a-pillar, or you can challenge them, for example, to create an obstacle course and guide the Code-a-pillar through it.
The Code-a-pillar Twist is best for ages 3 through 6.
