The City Hall building was constructed on a site formerly occupied by farms and chestnut trees. The foundation stone was laid on December 19, 1954, and the building was inaugurated on August 2, 1959. It is distinguished by its copper coat of arms and its lamps, both the work of Master Tiotónio Pedro Albuquerque.
Inside, there are five paintings of the municipality's pillories (pelourinhos), namely:

In our opinion, the Sátão Town Hall plays a vital role in the municipality, with positive aspects such as infrastructure improvements and community support. However, we believe that communication with citizens and the efficiency of certain services can still be enhanced. Overall, while the work being done is significant, there is room for further development
