This year, the school has carried out a virtual exchange with Cocopah Middle School, in the city of Phoenix, Arizona (USA), in which the students of the second year of CSE have exchanged videos with American students about different topics, such as school, the educational system or their daily life. By doing so, they got to know American students of the same age, established strong ties, learned about their traditions, and practiced oral comprehension and expression, thus increasing their motivation to learn English.

New this year, students have been offered the possibility of signing up for a projecte called Spellian, which is a tool for an online exchange with a British student. They have made weekly video calls, in which Spellian gives a guideline of what to do, although the students have also talked about them and have become friends. Our students’ feedback has been very positive, they have practiced comprehension and oral expression, they have gained fluency and learned about British traditions.
