STATIONS
English classes methodology is through STATIONS. Stations are held in groups of 5 students. They all have a CENTRE in common. The 4 habilities (listening, reading, writing and speaking) are developed in the five stations. This centre is PLANNING ACTIVITIES.
STATION 1
ONLINE GAMES
Students play different online games to work on vocabulary, sentences structures, strength their habilities and review vocabulary.
STATION 2
FAMOUS PEOPLE INTERVIEWS
Students complete a registration sheet. There are questions and answers to order (work on grammar structures). Once they order the questions & answers, students have to guess who the character is. Maybe Rapunzel, Iron Man, Messi, Lewandowski ?
STATION 3
SHREK'S BROCHURE
Students read an activity brochure about a Shrek's attration in London. They read what is the activity about and decide whether they want to do it or not. They learn to give arguments and express their opinion.
STATION 4
LISTENING TO A PRESENTATION
Students listen to an Avatar and fill in a presentation text. They practise vocabulary and phonetics. The second part of the task is to make an Avatar. Students get in an english webpage, where they have to read and understand information to design their Avatar and make him talk.
STATION 5
ACTIVITY PLAN
Students complete a registration sheet. There are different activities offered. They find the most important information about the activity chosen. Later, they do a digital brochure and explain to the class what is the activity about. Short speeches are a part of the speaking habilities to put into practise.
The CLOSING UP activity is to do their own DIGITAL BROCHURE. Students have the tools to offer their classmates an activity. They invent the information, the activity name, the company, location, price, opening times... They put into practise structures, vocabulary and digital habilities to lately, explain their acivity.
