Smart Freight Mobility
Freight logistics has an urban dimension. Given stakeholders, any urban mobility policy must cover both passenger and freight transport. Distribution in urban areas requires efficient interfaces between long-haul transport and short-distance distribution to the final destination. Smaller, more efficient, and clean vehicles could be used for local distribution.
The negative impacts of long-distance freight transport passing through urban areas should be reduced through planning and technical measures. Urban freight optimization offers a large number of applications for new technologies and new concepts. Freight transport has been considered only recently and current technical or organizational solutions are just improvements of existing techniques, often in technological continuity. Urban freight design is fully integrated into land-use planning.
To have liveable and attractive city centers in the future, new and older ones, and to avoid citizens wasting energy to get them, it is necessary to bring in goods, have artisans working efficiently, and facilitate shopkeepers' activities.

OUR CUSTOMER
Our warehouses are located in 8 different port communities, close to the port and close to the railway to receive the goods as quickly as possible. We count in each location 8'000 square meters with a capacity of 11'000 pallet places, with 80'000 movements per year, and in which many collaborators between pickers and stackers work to handle mechanical components for heavy haulage. They are undoubtedly very substantial numbers and it is a reality that was built from scratch in a few months.
"Our company has over 800 vehicles distributed in our offices to arrive even in areas that are difficult to reach. Furthermore, in the last year, we have purchased more than 100 fully electric vans and 200 methane vehicles, to make our work even more sustainable".
