Welcome to the Region 9 support site for Dyslexia and Related Disorders!  

Region 9 offers professional development sessions to foster awareness of dyslexia and related disorders, and the impact that these conditions can have on the life of a student.  

Training sessions focus on:

• dyslexia and related disorders

• screening and identification

• how to support students through appropriate instruction and classroom accommodations

• how to maintain compliance with federal and state requirements

Districts within Region 9 can also receive individualized technical assistance with dyslexia policies and implementation questions.
