8:30 – Teams arrive and assigned to practice rooms
(note: the practice boards will be covered and cannot be unveiled until the team captains return after their meeting.)
9:00 – 9:30 – Team captains will be in the Oak room to see unveiled boards and will receive instructions and will have time for Q&A
(note: we will try to broadcast this meeting to all the practice rooms and will post everything on the website at that time as well.)
9:30 – 11:30 – Plan/Build/Program/Iterate/Eat!
(note: multiple teams will be in each practice room and will need to cordially take turns on the practice boards.)
11:30 – 1:30 – COMPETE in Oak!
(We will have a schedule posted on the screens to let teams know when they need to be on-deck. Each team will compete in 3 matches, with each match lasting 2 minutes. During that time, no one may touch any item on the board (except their robot). Only team captains may pick up their robot to place it back on the designated start area(s) within that 2 minutes. More details are covered in the handbook that will be sent out soon…you can see last year’s on the website. )
1:35 – 1:45 – Awards Ceremony / Cleanup (results will be posted on this site at the conclusion of the competition.)
