Food
Food services via snacks and/or dinner are not eligible expenditures of Decision 11 funds, however awardees are encouraged to explore the Texas Department of Agriculture’s (TDA) Afterschool At Risk Program operated under the TDA’s Child and Adult Care Food Program. Transportation expenses are not eligible expenditures of Decision 11 funds, however routes may be eligible for transportation allotment funding if they meet requirements in the Transportation Allotment Handbook.
TEA mentioned providing additional information to LEAs on transportation and food resources.
