The guidance and resources below are specific to campuses that have chosen to engage in interventions, support, and funding with the TEA School Improvement Division through the ESF-Focused Suppor Grant or the Title I, 1003 School Improvement Grant.

The TIP Example is only developed for one Essential Action (EA 5.1) and shows what will be submitted at the Initial TIP submission. An actual campus TIP submission should have 2-3 Essential Actions selected as prioritized focus areas.

The Texas Title I Priority Schools (TTIPS) Grant Program is funded by the federal NCLB Section 1003(g) and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Section 1003(g) School Improvement Grant appropriations. Campus eligibility for the program is defined in the U.S. Department of Education Final Regulations released Dec. 3, 2009, and amended by the 2010 Appropriations Act.
