House Bill 2403 is reporting your GT program. Reporting such as: who is in charge of your program (directors, etc.); performance reporting (how are GT students doing in comparison to other students)

House Bill 3759 universal screening for 2nd graders. Still local decision. Only refers to 2nd grade and LEA will get to choose which screener. Must be given to all 2nd graders. Can be quantitative or qualitative, as long as it is a measure they give to all 2nd graders. Will NOT affect the Kindergarten screener. It should be added to testing.

House Bill 5261/Senate Bill 8: Parental rights. What we have been doing, never been mandated for parents to sign. NOW, adds actual language of consent to participate in program. Always been best practices to have parents sign off, but now it mandates it.
