Future Educators Unite: Rise and Teach Education Conference Paves the Way for Teaching Excellence

This year's Rise and Teach Education Conference saw an impressive turnout, with over 250 high school students attending. Participants represented thirty Region 15 school districts, school sponsors, enthusiastic education presenters, and key institutions such as the Education Service Center Region 15, Angelo State University, and Howard College. The event featured dynamic keynote speaker Aric Bostick and offered breakout sessions, a campus tour of Angelo State University, and a closing session highlighting the presentation of thirteen education scholarships.

Our initiative is dedicated to supporting the next generation of Texas educators, particularly those students aspiring to become teachers. We aim to facilitate their transition to higher education through partnerships with key entities such as the Education Service Center Region 15, Angelo State University, Howard College, education professionals, and the local community.

The opening session commenced with greetings from the Education Service Center Region 15, Angelo State University, and Howard College. Renowned keynote speaker Aric Bostick delivered an inspiring address, setting the tone for the day. Students then had the opportunity to attend grade-level-specific breakout sessions, tailoring their experience to their educational interests.

The conference's conclusion was marked by the presentation of thirteen scholarships, generously made possible through contributions from the Education Service Center, Howard College, and our primary conference sponsor, H-E-B.
