Prekindergarten program data reporting is mandatory for all LEAs who provide a Pre-K program.
The data to be collected and reported into ECDS includes:
Demographic Information
Sources of funding for Prekindergarten class
Instrument administered from Commissioner's List of Approved PK Progress Monitoring Instruments
Beginning-of-Year (BOY) and End-of-Year (EOY) scores from Commissioner's List of Approved PK Progress Monitoring Instruments
Special program information
Teacher qualifications to meet HQPK
Course Section Data needed to determine:
Students enrolled in LEA PK classes, including the number of children who are eligible for free PK
Number of half-day and full-day PK classes offered by LEA and campus
Class size
Curriculum used in the program
PK School Type (now reported at section level instead of LEA level)
Childcare Operation Number (if part of a Pre-K Partnership)
