What is a best practice?
Best practice is defined by Gartner as a group of tasks that optimizes the efficiency (cost and risk) or effectiveness (service level) of the business discipline or process to which it contributes. It must be implementable, replicable, transferable, and adaptable across industries.
Best practices help LEAs improve services to staff, students, and/or parents, products, security, and productivity while maximizing the value spent on the investment. Integrating best practices into your LEA can be difficult, but doing so can have its advantages, such as:
Increased Security
Increased efficiency and productivity
Satisfied staff, students, and/or parents
Intentional innovation
