In the event of insufficient enrolment, l’École supérieure de ballet du Québec reserves the right to cancel a course. Classes that have not yet taken place and service fees will be refunded or credited.

In the event of force majeure or extreme weather conditions, l’École supérieure de ballet du Québec reserves the right to cancel classes without refund or rescheduling.

The cancellation policy of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec complies with the Consumer Protection Act in effect in Quebec. 

• Cancellation before classes begin: You will receive a 100% refund of all class and membership fees (only service fees are non-refundable)

• Cancellation after the first class: You will receive a 100% refund of your class fees, and there is no penalty. Only service and membership fees (approximately $45) are non-refundable.

• Cancellation after the second class: You are responsible for the cost of the first class, but all remaining classes will be refunded with no penalty. Service and membership fees (approximately $45) are non-refundable.

• Cancellation after the third class: You are responsible for the classes already taken, and the remaining classes will be refunded. However, a 10% penalty will be applied to the cost of the remaining classes (up to a maximum of $50). Service and membership fees (approximately $45) are non-refundable.

For a family: If one of the children continues their courses, they lose their family discount.

A service charge of 1% is added on the total amount of the purchase.

• Make-up classes are not available in other courses.

A $15 penalty will be charged for any declined pre-authorized payment (credit card, electronic check or post-dated check) if the balance due is not paid within 10 business days of the payment due date; the client will have been notified of the rejection by Amilia/SmartRec.

What discount applies to 2 children or more of the same family?

10% applicable on the course fees of each child for registrations made in a single purchase on a single invoice.

What discount applies to a child who is registered to multiple classes?

15% applicable on one or more classes.

• Discount applies to the least expensive course.
• Pointe courses are not eligible.
• Combo discount applies exclusively to the purchase of multiple activities for one person at one time. This discount cannot be applied to a subsequent purchase.
