Skills competition

Culinary students: Marija Čarnić, Verica Brajović and Milica Damnjanović, accompanied by their mentor, teacher Steve Ćakić, participated in the international GastroErasmus competition, which was held in the city of Side from April 21 to April 22, 2024

Practical training in Turkiye

In another successfully implemented Erasmus+ mobility, within the accredited project, twelve students and two accompanying teachers stayed in the city of Manavgat, Turkiye in the period from 04 April to 22 April 2024 in order to implement practical training for students. 

Job-shadowing in Slovenia

Three teachers of the economic group of subjects: Gordana Selaković, Nada Maljković and Gordana Lazarević Zdelar, within the Erasmus+ accredited project no. 2023-1-RS01-KA121-VET-000130054, stayed in Ljubljana, Slovenia for the job-shadowing activities in the period from 18.03 - 22.03.2024. years.On that occasion, they visited and observed classes at the school "„Ekonomska gimnazija in Srednja Šola Radovljica"

PROJECT LOGO CREATED

The logo representing the main characteristics of our project was created by the students. The logo represents all three professional courses studied at our school: economics, catering and gastronomy, as well as teaching, since the project includes a job-shadowing activity for teachers. 

TWELVE STUDENTS SELECTED FOR PRACTICAL TRAINING IN TURKEY

Within the Erasmus+ accredited project 2023-1-RS01-KA121-VET-000130054, which was opened on June 1, 2023,  a competition was held for students to perform practical training in Manavgat, Turkey. Based on predetermined criteria, out of 42 registered students, the committee selected 12 students from all educational profiles.

The students will stay in the city of Manavgat for two weeks in April 2024. The working days will be spent on internships in five star hotels in Side and Belek, and during the weekend various cultural visits will be organized.

It is expected that the students will improve their professional competences needed for the modern labour market, improve communication in English, improve teamwork skills, as well as coping in a new environment. In addition to the working environment, students will get to know the culture and customs of Turkey. The partner on the project for practical training is Şule Muzaffer Büyük Mesleki ve Teknik Anadolu Lisesi  from Manavgat,  Turkey.
