Workshop in the forest
Polish students took part in a unique trip to the Zabierzowski Forest. We participated in nature workshops conducted by a forester from the Krzeszowice Forest District, during which we gained knowledge about the forest ecosystem and learned how to take care of nature. One of the most engaging tasks was setting up a "settlement" and planning how to survive in it. It was a real lesson in creativity and cooperation! We walked through the Grzybowska Valley, learning about natural and geological curiosities. The highlight of the event was to plant trees. We managed to plant 50 lime trees and thus create our own Linden Alley along the valley. In this way, we left our green footprint in this beautiful place! It was an unforgettable lesson in ecology that we will remember for a long time.

During the last part of the hike students could walk by the solar panels which provide green, renewable energy to our municipality.
At school, students gathered to prepare an activity which further addresses SDG 13 – Climate Action. The aim of this activity is to promote a "greener" environment within the school. The activity was carried out by former MACE participants and other students.
