STEM Days, which captivate passionate students in the STEM field, have garnered significant interest in Erzurum.
Raising Awareness of the Role of Science and Technology in Our Lives:
STEM Days are designed to raise awareness about the role of science and technology in our lives. This event includes various activities such as competitions, speeches, exhibitions, and workshops, offering participants opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in STEM fields
The competitions, one of the most significant aspects of the event, provide an excellent platform for participants to showcase their creativity and problem-solving skills.

These competitions are held in six different categories, fostering intense competition. Each category awards a first prize to the best projects selected by the jury. Additionally, each year, the number of categories and the diversity of age groups are expanded to reach broader audiences.

STEM Days, organized in seven different categories including Scratch, Tinkercad, Kodu Game, Lego Education, Mini Sumo, Industrial Design, and Scenario, awarded prizes to the students who excelled in these competitions.
Erzurum Technical University Rector Prof. Dr. Bülent ÇAKMAK, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Ceren Sultan ELMALI, Prof. Dr. Ali Fatih YETİM, Mucitpark Coordinator Instructor Ali Necip NURSOY, MNG AVM Manager Tankut Keskin, instructors, families, and participant students attended the event to present the awards.
In his speech during the program, Rector Çakmak emphasized that STEM Days bring children together with science and technology, stating, "Seeing the exciting works of young talents further strengthens my hopes for our future. Our children should not forget that the main purpose here is to learn and develop through scientific activities. In this event, conducted in two stages, our children went through many rigorous stages with the guidance of instructors and have come this far today. It is impossible not to admire the perseverance and success shown by these young talents. The public part of our event saw participation from 8,345 people as practitioners, and we interacted with more than 30,000 visitors along with technology product booths. These numbers are a testament to how extensive and appealing our event is. I thank our team who strives every year to bring more people together with science, and I sincerely congratulate all our children."
Following the speeches, Rector Çakmak and the instructors continued the program by presenting awards to the children and taking commemorative photos.
Impressive Workshop Sessions
Workshop sessions catering to various interests not only impart new skills to participants but also help enhance their creativity and imagination. Workshops such as the Wood Workshop, Maker Workshop, VR Workshop, Family-Child Workshop, and Science Workshop enable participants to gain knowledge and experience in diverse fields ranging from robotics to woodworking, from 3D design to virtual reality.

Our institution aims to emphasize the importance of science and technology in society and contribute to the development of new generations in these fields by organizing such events.
In the 2024 edition of STEM Days, 8345 individuals participated actively in the activities. Alongside technology product stands, the event engaged with over 30,000 participants in total.
