Family Science Exploration and Community Engagement: Maker Day!
To bring families closer to science and foster a love for science within the community, our organization hosted an exciting event: Maker Day! During this special event, we set up 21 different experiment stations to provide visitors with an unforgettable science experience. We trained 40 volunteer students, including middle school and university students, to conduct experiments at the stations and provide comprehensive information.
Our volunteer students engaged visitors actively by providing detailed explanations about the experiments and actively involving them in the scientific process. They demonstrated that science is a fun and exciting world.
Designed for interaction between families and children, our stations hosted more than 1000 visitors. Parents enjoyed sharing this unique experience with their children. Maker Day was more than just a science event; it was a significant step to increase interest in science and learning and to inspire the community. The overwhelming response to the event once again highlighted how important science is for people of all ages.
