Stephanie Sanders
Structured Literacy & Executive Function Specialist
With over 16 years of experience in special education, Stephanie has walked alongside students with a wide range of learning differences, helping them recognize that they are capable, intelligent, and full of potential.
She believes meaningful growth happens when a child feels seen, understood, and genuinely supported — a belief that guides every aspect of her work. Stephanie's instruction is grounded in thoughtful, individualized planning designed around each student’s unique strengths and areas of need.
Trained in the Orton-Gillingham approach, she specializes in structured literacy, executive functioning development, and targeted intervention that closes foundational gaps while building lasting confidence. Her work is encouraging, focused, and results-driven — always centered on the whole child.
Stephanie values strong partnerships with families and believes consistent communication and collaboration lead to the most meaningful outcomes. Together, she works with families to build skills, foster independence, and create forward momentum toward each student’s goals.
Living in a small town along the Ohio River has shaped her steady, patient approach to teaching — growth takes time, intention, and belief. And every child deserves all three.
