Our Vision
Anchor Learning Systems designs learning systems that are:
Structured
Instruction and support rooted in research — including the Science of Reading and proven executive function frameworks — that prioritize clarity, consistency, and measurable progress.
Supportive
We honor how diverse learners think and process information. Instruction isn’t one-size-fits-all; it’s tailored to individual needs, strengths, and goals, with intentional scaffolding and responsive adjustment.
Scalable
Whether working with families, educators, or schools, our frameworks and programs are built to be sustainable, transferable, and empowering for learners across settings.
Anchor Learning Systems supports:
Families seeking individualized academic and executive function support for their learners
Educators and tutors looking for training, tools, and curriculum grounded in best practices
Schools and organizations exploring partnerships to expand evidence-based systems of support
We design programs to meet learners where they are and help them reach where they deserve to be.
Our Founder
Anchor Learning Systems was founded by Erin Luchterhand, a seasoned special educator and learning systems designer with extensive experience supporting neurodivergent learners and adult learners alike. Over more than 15 years in education, Erin has developed programs, curriculum, and training rooted in research, data, and deep classroom experience.
Her work centers on:
Structured literacy instruction aligned with the Science of Reading and Orton-Gillingham methodology
Executive function strategies tailored for ADHD, ASD, and neurodivergent thinking
Coaching and training for educators and tutors
Designing supportive learning systems that build confidence and independence
Erin was named Teacher of the Year by Exceptional Parent Magazine and has taught thousands of learning hours both in person and virtually. She believes education should prepare learners for life, not just tests, and that the right systems unlock potential that traditional instruction often overlooks.
Many educational supports focus on tutoring or remediation alone.
At Anchor Learning Systems, we go further by:
Applying evidence-based research to every program
Designing systems, not just sessions
Blending instructional support with skill development and independence building
Collaborating with families, schools, and educators to create lasting impact
Our work is not about fixing learners — it’s about building systems that help learners flourish.
Our Commitment
We are committed to:
Accessibility and intentional learning design
Cultivating resilience and confidence
Honoring neurodiversity with strength-based practices
Growing impacts across homes, schools, and communities
