Community Service Opportunities

We’re excited to announce that our annual Halloween Spooktacular is just around the corner! This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, and we’re currently looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make it a fun and memorable experience for our community.

Whether you enjoy decorating, assisting with games and activities, helping with setup/cleanup, or just bringing a little Halloween spirit, there are plenty of ways to get involved.

Volunteer Duties 

Volunteer assignments will include distribution of candy through Halloween Spooktacular village, distribution of arts and craft kits, operation of a carnival games, prize redemption area, and assisting with inflatable jumper area. 

Check-in 

Upon arrival to Smith Park, please report to the Volunteer Check-in Booth. Please bring your completed volunteer application if you have not submitted one already. If you are unable to print ahead of time, volunteer applications will be readily available on site. Volunteers will be required to sign-in and sign-out. Please arrive early to allow ample time for check-in and placement. Your volunteer hours will be recorded at the conclusion of the event. Volunteer letters will also be provided. 

Footwear/Dress Attire 

Volunteers must wear closed toe shoes. No sandals, high heels, or crocs. Casual dress attire. Attached is the event flyer and volunteer application. Pico Rivera has its own form.

• Volunteer Shifts: 4:30pm-9:30pm (Must volunteer full shift)
