Description: Creating rubrics can be a time consuming task. Filling out rubrics for each student can be even more time consuming. Calculating the grade using the rubric and a calculator is the most time consuming! Come learn how you can create an electronic rubric that when combined with Google Classroom will make the process more efficient for you and your students. Participants will learn how to format cells to look like a rubric as well as learn various types of formulas that will automatically calculate a total rubric score, convert the score to a percent grade and even provide the letter score. No knowledge of Google Sheets (or Excel) required!

Manipulate some of the advanced functions of Google Sheets
Choose standards to evaluate student work
Create hyperlinks to online resources for each criteria/standard
Send digital rubrics to individual students through Google Classroom
