Have a look and spot a Red Squirrel in it's natural habitat.
There is something truly special about seeing different generations come together, sharing laughter, stories and experiences.
Books have a magical way of bridging generations and it was lovely to hear the children talking about their visit when we returned to school.

Games Based Numeracy
Working on our meta skills we worked together in pairs to play some new numeracy games.
"I will choose 2, and 6..." G
"I am going to choose bigger numbers" H
"You can only throw a 2 up to 12 using the dice". H
"I sometimes get my 3 round the wrong way, not today" O
Setting up the game is really easy. You will need:
A whiteboard
A whiteboard pen
"Two colours of counters but you can use buttons, units or even the counting teddies". M and S
2 dice
So much fun working collaboratively to focus on the numeracy game whilst working on our addition calculations.
