Chinese Cookery (Mandarin Culture Club) - S1-3

In Chinese culture Club pupils had great fun learning to cook noodles and learning to use chopsticks to try some noodles and dumplings.

During Chinese Culture Club, pupils were decorating kites. Lots of nice pictures and Chinese character handwriting

Pupils made their own shuttlecocks from bin bags, rubber bands and coins!

Pupils cooked stir fry and tasted pain au chocolat as well as learning about, hygiene and using knives safely and techniques for preparation & chopping vegetable







S2- Christmas door

2.2 used the 24 festive greetings from the Modern Languages Festive Greetings Advent Calendar

They have been watching on YouTube to create a international themed display for the Christmas Door competition - each present’s gift tag has a greeting in a different language



S1

In conjunction with the School topic, learners have recreated their timetables and posters for their ideal school rules in French.

S2

– For the Paris/Holidays unit, learners have created postcards from Paris (and beyond!) addressed to their friends and families and decorated with the appropriate scene.

Learners have created posters with the French translations of the UNCRC, based on which ones they found most interesting, adopting the style of the UNCRC graphics.

S3

S3 have also created posters based on their ideal school rules – quite different to reality!
