Eligible employees have the opportunity to sign up for health insurance when they begin employment, during the district’s annual open enrollment period in June, or after experiencing a qualifying life event. Health coverage is provided through Blue Cross Blue Shield of Rhode Island (BCBSRI) under the HealthMate Coast-to-Coast plan.
Prescription coverage is not included within the core health plan but is automatically added when you enroll in medical coverage. The prescription drug plan is administered by CVS Caremark.
