2025-2026 REGISTRATION DATES: March 10 -18, 2025
Evangeline Parish School Board Pre-K contains classrooms at 8 sites within the school district that are funded by LA4, 8g, Title 1, and Special Education grants as well as some local funds. (Bayou Chicot Elementary, Chataignier Elementary, James Stephens Montessori, Mamou Elementary, Pine Prairie High School, Vidrine Elementary, Ville Platte Elementary and WW Stewart. This program follows the school system calendar while providing daily education to 4-year old children in Evangeline Parish.

EARLY CHILDHOOD SPECIAL EDUCATION: An educational evaluation is offered for children ages 3 through 5 years not enrolled in Kindergarten who may have special needs. Children are serviced in homes, early learning centers and within the school system.
