Work Experience is an opportunity to earn credits while you are working or involved in a recognized volunteer program.
HCS 3000 must be completed
The course is considered a full year course running September - June
Summer Work Experience is now available for students working through the summer
One credit is awarded for every 25 hours of work. A minimum 75 hours (3 credits) must be complete to earn credits.
Students may earn up to 15 credits towards graduation, and an additional 15 credits for their transcripts.
Students are responsible for submitting all of their pay statements and all documentation promptly. Failing to do so may impact the awarding of credits. This is wholly the student's responsibility.
Work Experience Credits can be used towards the Rutherford Scholarship.
