The Registered Apprenticeship Program can change your life and provide you with unlimited career opportunities.
This program allows students to work as an Apprentice in a recognized trade while earning credits toward a high school diploma and earning a competitive wage. Credits are earned every 25 hours, up to a maximum of 40 credits or 1000 hours. The RAP program is highly competitive.
Your chances of placement will be greatly improved if you focus on the following:
Obtain an Alberta Driver’s License
Network with potential employers. You can secure your own RAP Placement.
Attend school every day and be a model student
You will also require a current resume and cover letter.
Your first step is to complete the Pre Employment course offered for 12 days after school and is offered in both semesters.
