The countdown is on to your Grad-To-Go event! Our school is so proud of our graduates and we are excited to celebrate your accomplishments. We’ve heard lots of questions around Grad-To-Go and what it may look like, given our current health and safety restrictions. With that said, we appreciate your patience as we want to ensure our Tiger graduates and families get to experience a unique and unprecedented event in a safe and memorable way.

Dear Students,
2020 was unlike any year before... The Fall of 2019 was filled with taken-for-granted routines, special events, and memorable times. We were enjoying our days together and our halls were alive with Tiger Spirit. But those days were finite.
By mid-March 2020, our halls were silent, lockers had been emptied, and our school sign displayed the message: “We miss you. You will always belong here. Be safe. Be well.” We were forever changed. As Tigers, and as a global community, we were confronted with the COVID-19 pandemic.
This year, out of necessity, you have grown up so much faster than we ever wanted for you -- and you have met the challenge of our time with courage and tenacity. Not only did each of you switch from regular classes to remote learning, you weathered changes in every domain of your life and took on new roles within your family and community. Many of you undertook essential tasks within the workforce, volunteered to support the vulnerable in our city, or adopted new responsibilities for child and elder care. Many of you learned new technology and shared your learning with others in order to connect our community together. Many of you sought to comfort, bolster, and acknowledge others. And all of you sacrificed your personal wants for collective needs.
This is why, in thinking of reasons to be hopeful during such difficult times, we pay tribute to you for your exceptional grace, compassion, tenacity, selflessness, and resilience. You exemplify what it means "to be a Tiger" during a time that will be documented in history.
On behalf of the Faculty at McNally High School, it has been an honour to teach and support you. We were disappointed that our year was unexpected and different than anticipated. But as we cared for you and learned alongside you, we have learned much about ourselves. We are better because we have known and journeyed alongside you. We wish you “nothing but the best” in your future endeavours. No matter what comes, it will be a bright future with you at the helm.
