Who are we?

Duggan School serves Kindergarten to Grade 6 students who live in the Duggan community.  For the 2024-2025 school year, we are also the designated receiving school for Kindergarten to grade six students in the Desrochers and Heritage Valley Town Centre neighborhoods in south west Edmonton.  If you live in one of our designated neighbourhoods, please contact the school at 780-434-0319 to find out how to register and transportation options.

What Programs are offered here?

Duggan School is an elementary school with grades Kindergarten to Grade 6.   Music instruction is provided by a music specialist.  French as a Second Language is provided to students in grade four, five and six in the community program.

We also offer a Pre-Kindergarten Program for 3 and 4 year old children who qualify for Provincial Program Unit Funding.  To find out more information about the Pre-Kindergarten Program, please contact the school at 780-434-0319 or check out the division website.

We also offer three District Centre Interactions program classes for students with autism in grades 1 through 6 who qualify for the program.  In order to request a space in one of our Interactions program classes, please speak with the principal of your child's neighbourhood school.  Below are some videos describing the Interactions program in more detail.
