The Foods option is part of the Career and Technology Foundations (CTF). Within this course, students explore aspects of working in the kitchen, including becoming familiar with kitchen tools, cooking methods and managing different tasks in the kitchen. Students have opportunities to make a variety of baked goods, snacks, breakfast and lunch items. Within the CTF program, Foods places much emphasis on skills, including problem solving, time management and working cooperatively.
