Our three player division uses the round robin format with 8 preliminary games. Each games has a maximum length of 3 minutes of game time. In divisions with less than 9 teams, a team may play an opponent more than one time. Teams with the best record of Wins , Losses and Ties will advance to playoff rounds.
3-Man games play is on SATURDAYS on event weekends.
Game Play:
Teams line up at the start station, and await the count down signal from the referee team, and/or scoreboard software. The goal of each team is to eliminate the opposing players and allowing enough time to hit the "Buzzer" or tap the opposing end zone starting station.
Scoring:
Teams can secure 1 point for each "buzzer" that they are able to press. It is much like hockey, where you shoot and score a "goal" in the opponent net. Teams can accumulate a mazimum of 8 points in preliminary games.
In playoff rounds, teams play single opponents in a best of 3 competition. Winners continue to advance.
Game End:
A game has ended if game time has expired either by a team scoring a point, or by maximum time expiring, or ending in a draw.
