Service Times & Platforms

Epikos Church currently has two services at 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM. Each service time is streaming the worship service live on three platforms:

• Church Online (CHOP) - epikos.online.church

• Facebook - facebook.com/epikoschurch

• YouTube - youtube.com/epikosmke

Stream Host Team

Every service time should have a stream host team. The stream host team are the individuals who lead the discussion in the chat, respond to guests in the chat, and pray for those who are in need of prayer.

Ideally, each service should have a different stream host team and each platform we stream on should have a different stream host team.

Definitions:

Host (1 Person):

• Most active in the chat.

• Copying and pasting from the script.

• Welcoming and responding to people in the chat.

• Should be a pastor (or someone well known in the church)

Co-Host (1 Person):

• Assisting the host in answering questions the guests may have that the host may miss.

• Can be anyone on staff at Epikos.

Prayer Ministers (2-3 Persons):

• Primary leaders to accept prayer requests and pray with people in private chats.

• Staff or authorized layperson from the prayer ministry.

Differences in Feeds:

Church Online Platform (CHOP)

CHOP has the most users engaging the stream. Each feed must have at least 2 or more prayer ministers and any other staff host should help the prayer ministers when they are overwhelmed with requests.

Facebook

Facebook has the second largest engagement with users engaging the stream but a bit more conversation in the chat. There is no privave prayer feature so prayer ministers would need to pray in the chat or engage in a separate direct message using your own personal Facebook account. Prayer requests do not get asked as much through Facebook but people should be pointed to fill out a connect card to give prayer requests.

YouTube

YouTube has the lowest engagement with the stream and has almost no discussion in the chat. YouTube can be ran by a single host to update the chat with the prompts and for to respond to people in the feed if needed.

Note:

On stage and hosting

If you are service hosting, preaching, or leading on the worship team, do not comment in the chat. Allow the other host to take over responsibilities until you are off the screen. We will do our best to make sure you are not scheduled to host but you can still be scheduled to be a prayer minister.
