Templates are the best way to cut down on your repetitive admin time and get more time to personalise your interactions with clients.
In this video we walk you through how to create new templates and insert personalisation tokens and attachments.
From within your HubSpot account
In your HubSpot account, navigate to contacts, companies or deals
Click the name of a record
In the left panel, click the Email icon ✉️
In the pop-up box, click Templates
In the dialogue box, hover over the template you want to send and click Select
Customize the content, then click Send. If you used any placeholder tokens in the template, update the placeholder text before sending
The email will be tracked automatically
From within Outlook
To insert a template using the Outlook desktop add-in:
Compose a new email and add a recipient
In the menu, under HubSpot Sales > Templates
Use the search bar to find a template by name or click the dropdown menu beside the search bar to filter your templates by All, Created by my team, Created by me and Recent
Please note the Last used at column is user-specific. You can sort your templates by the Last used at or the Created at column
Hover over the template you want to use and click Select
To insert a template using the Office 365 add-in:
Access your sales tools in your email client:
(Note: depending on what settings you have in your email environment, the exact locations may look slightly different)
Compose a new email and add a recipient.
In the pane on the right, click Templates.
Use the search bar to search for a template by name or click the dropdown menu beside the search bar to filter your templates by All, Created by my team, Created by me and Recent.
Please note: the Last used at column is user-specific. You can sort your templates by the Last used at or the Created at column.
Hover over the template you want to use and click Select.
To insert a template using the Gmail add-in:
Compose a new email and add a recipient
In the menu, select Templates
Use the search bar to search for a template by name or click the dropdown menu beside the search bar to filter your templates by All, Created by my team, Created by me and Recent.
