Historical Tweet

This is a picture from D-Day. Here's a Wikipedia link for more information Note that the goal here is not to trivialize the event, but to show the human side of it. Choose this or another historical event from US History to come up with a tweet that may have been authored during the historical time. Write an essay describing further the time of which the tweet would have been written.

Must be five paragraphs in length.

Each paragraph should have a topic sentence, three supporting sentences, and a conclusion sentence. The first paragraph should be the introduction and the last paragraph should be the conclusion.

Make sure to use several different sentence types, openers, and dress-ups.
