This is my 19th year teaching in District 86. I have taught both first and second grade. This year is my first year as a physical education teacher.

In 2001, I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Bradley University. In 2006, I received a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Illinois State University. I plan to continue my professional education through all my years of teaching.

I am married to my high school sweetheart Brian. We have three beautiful sons, Anthony, Vincent, and Dominic. We also have a dog named Millie. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, running, exercising, getting pedicures, and golfing with friends,

I have a love for health and fitness and want to share my knowledge with young children. My goal is to show the students how fitness can be fun! Becoming a Physical Education teacher is like a dream come true. Being able to combine my love for fitness and teaching children is the perfect career path for me. I am an avid runner. This past year, I completed my first marathon and ran to support St. Jude for my third year. In addition to running, I enjoy weight lifting at Eastside Centre and participate in boxing classes at C.O.R.E. Boxing and Fitness in East Peoria.
