About Us

Vivian Bordner is currently a freshman at East Pennsboro High School. She is the feature editor for the Panther Press. In Vivian’s free time, she likes to listen to music, watch TV, play video games, and hang around with her friends. Over the summer, she got into charity work. Vivian enjoys anything to do with animals, food, and nature. 

Julie Capers is currently a freshman and very excited to be working on the school newspaper! She is currently a member of the tennis team, Environmental Club, Literary Magazine, and Mini-Thon. In her free time, she enjoys reading, binging TV shows, going for runs, and spending time with her family.

Tyler Deatrick is a senior at East Pennsboro Area High School. He loves to spend time with family and friends, as well as listening to music during his free time. Tyler hopes that he is able to show off his sports knowledge, as well as his love for sports, through stories. 

Shae Gelotte is a 9th grade student. Shae is a contributor to a club called “One Voice Club”. She also plays three sports: track and field, softball, and basketball. Shae's dream is to go D1 in track for the 100m. She plans to work really hard for that throughout high school. Shae enjoys baking, going to the gym, listening to music, and attending youth  group/church. 

Aedan Angelo is a freshman at East Pennsboro High School. He enjoys creating graphics for the East Penn Media team and works on the school’s news team. In his free time, Aedan enjoys listening to music. Aedan likes spending time with his little brother and family as a whole, and practices art as a hobby.

Jazryel Pabon is a junior. She is from Newark, NJ and moved to Pennsylvania two years ago. She just started at EPAHS this year. She enjoys writing and listening to music. Another hobby of hers is visual arts. She is focused on her studies and loves learning about and helping people. She plans on attending college and majoring in Psychology.

Kaitlyn Manderbach is a 9th grade student-athlete at East Pennsboro High School. She enjoys playing soccer and plays all year round. Her favorite season to play is winter because it is indoors and more fun to have people watch her play. Another hobby she enjoys is cooking, and hanging out with her closest friends.

Khushi Patel is a freshman. In her free time, she enjoys reading, listening to music, spending time with family, and playing tennis. Her hobbies include writing, dancing, and watching shows. Her favorite musical artists are Gracie Abrams, Taylor Swift, and Tate McRae. She hopes to attend a 4-year college and major in computer science or engineering. 

Lucas Swidler, currently a sophomore, enjoys playing football and boxing. He has future plans of becoming a professional athlete but is currently still deciding what to do. Lucas enjoys learning about business techniques and advertising, as he wants to become a big business owner. He enjoys meditation and clearing his head from all negative thoughts. Lucas enjoys reading the Bible to be on the path of righteousness. 

 Macey Tilden is currently in 9th grade at EPHS. When she is in school, Macey enjoys learning and spending time with friends. Outside of school, she has many hobbies including softball, shopping, and spending time with her friends and family. A future goal of hers is to attend a 4- year college to become a Veterinarian. She is excited to contribute to the newspaper and start something new.

Siyah Torres is a 10th grade student at East Pennsboro High School. She is interested in being a travel nurse or a real estate agent. One of her favorite things to do is play basketball in her free time. She used to play for a high school team and a AAU team. Siyah wants to go to college but still doesn’t know what college she wants to attend. Her goal is to graduate from school in Orange County in Florida.

Nadjma Toudjani is a sophomore. During Nadjma’s free time, she likes to play basketball or soccer. Sometimes she just likes to hang out with her family, but she enjoys being alone, as well. Nadjma’s favorite artists are Frank Ocean, Bryson Tiller, and Sza. Nadjima wants to travel to places like Qatar, Dubai, Turkey, Maldives, and Saudi Arabia.

Jade Weston is currently a 10th grade student at EPAHS. In school, she enjoys volunteering for any small or big tasks. She likes hanging out with friends and helping out others, especially with school work. Jade tends to be a productive, nice, caring, and very funny person. She also plays sports, travels, and enjoys riding her bike.

Morgan Woods is a freshman at East Pennsboro High School. This is her fourth year living in East Pennsboro township. She moved here from Dover, PA. She lives with her mom, dad, brother, and their six pets. She is part of the Environmental Club and Literary Magazine Club. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and listening to music.

Sarah Clouser is the advisor of the newspaper. She also advises the Literary Magazine and organizes the school-wide Poetry Out Loud competition. When she was in high school, she was editor of her high school's newspaper. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, spending time with her family, and reading.
