Janelle Seward is a motivational educator and success coach who has persevered through the many challenges of growing up in an 11-person household, in a chaotic environment riddled with drugs, violence, and multiple forms of abuse. Early on, she recognized that in order to have a different outcome, she had to do something different and was determined not to become a product of her environment.
Janelle is a first-generation, low-income college graduate. With the help of TRIO programs, she became the first person in my family to obtain a bachelor’s degree (B.A., English) and a master’s degree (M. Ed, Higher Education), both from Iowa State University. She has dedicated her career to serving those who are often overlooked and underserved with the goal of helping them discover their hidden potential and success. Through her business, TIME with Janelle LLC., she encourages students to take charge of their future through intentional decision-making. Her goal is to help them TRANSFORM the way they think and live by INSPIRING them to dream, and MOTIVATING them to act while EDUCATING them on the steps to take to make their dreams a reality.
