Conversation between people is important. Here are ways to practice with your friends and family.

Here is a list of things talk about with someone else:

1. How is your community or city like?

2. What’s your favorite color?

3. What did you do last weekend?

4. What do you think of tattoos?

5. What three words best describe you?

6. Who is your oldest friend? Where did you meet him or her?

7. What foods do you absolutely hate?

8. What is your favorite holiday?

9. What are your goals for the next two years?

10. What are you best at?

Read something you have at home out loud. Examples of things:

Cereal boxes, labels, Cookbooks, Recipes, Magazines, Children's Books, Chapter Books,

Other ideas: Help a sibling with homework, teach someone a new concept, or give directions to someone.
