You will fill out a Confidential Client History and Consent Form at your first appointment even if you do not have health insurance/ your health fund does not cover remedial massage therapy. If you are not comfortable giving us your information, please do not proceed to make an appointment with us.
Your booked duration reflects your hands-on time not including assessments if the appointment starts on time.
A guardian must be present throughout the entire treatment if the client is under 18.

About Carmen
"Hi! I am your Remedial Massage Therapist and the founder of Entrusted Remedial Massage, Carmen.
I have started my massage journey in Melbourne since 2015.
In 2017, I graduated from Southern Cross Education Institute studying Diploma of Remedial Massage.
I have been a Remedial Member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia since 2018.
My goal is to improve your well-being within my knowledge and manual techniques.

Your Massage Treatment
Carmen provides services including Remedial / Relaxation Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Myofascial Cupping, Detailed Foot Massage and Tui-na Acupressure.
Expect a highly tailormade treatment with Carmen according to our assessments and your preference. You also have the option to keep your clothes on to have an Acupressure style massage if you prefer so.
We use SX Ultimate Contour Massage Table for your comfort from Healthtec which is Australian made and owned. We have gotten so many compliments of the new massage table. The adjustable face cradle feels so cushy and luxurious.

Health rebates with all health funds available at the spot. Please consult with your insurance company to see if Remedial Therapy is included in your health care package or not if you intend to claim.

Cancellation Policy
We have a strict 6-hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations are charged at 50% for the scheduled service price. If you would like to reschedule your appointment, it is still considered a cancellation of the original appointment.
No-shows are charged at 100% for the scheduled service price.
Cancellation fees are not claimable with health rebates as a treatment has not been provided in this case.
We understand that life can be busy and you would need to change your appointments sometimes. Therefore, our cancellation policy is only 6-hour, which is already very generous compared to 24 or 48-hour ones.
However, as a small solo practice, every appointment is crucial for us to keep running and survive.
If you successfully booked an appointment, we 100% commit to it. So please try to only book an appointment if you are 100% sure that you will come, as some other clients may take the same spot if it was available.
We appreciate any cancellations in advance, as it frees the spot for potential clients.
It is always appreciated to send your family/friend to replace you to avoid the late cancellation fee.
It will be the sole discretion of your Remedial Massage Therapist to enforce the cancellation policy or not.
If you are running late we reserve the right to cut your treatment time.

No-Gift/Tipping Policy
Entrusted Remedial Massage is a no-tipping establishment, as we are a professional healthcare business.
We do not accept tips in any forms, including cash and physical gifts, which in terms promoting a professional boundary and respectful environment. If the quality of our services has exceeded what we have charged, please consider donating the difference to charities such as our friend A Better Life Animal Sanctuary.
